


State Rep. Nancy DeBoer (R-Holland) welcomed Gwen Auwerda, executive director of the Tulip Time Festival, as her floor guest for the Governor’s State of the State address.
“It was an honor to have Gwen join me for this special evening,” said DeBoer. “Tulip Time is one of the most cherished traditions in Holland, and Gwen’s leadership has helped the festival continue to grow and thrive each year. It’s a celebration of our Dutch heritage and the strong sense of community that makes Holland such a special place to call home.”
DeBoer was also honored to have Linda Hart, executive director of the Holland Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, join her in the House gallery during the address.
“It was wonderful to have Linda there as well,” said DeBoer. “She plays a vital role in promoting Holland and supporting our local economy, and I was grateful she could be part of the evening.”
