State Rep. Matthew Bierlein, of Vassar, today announced his House office in Lansing is open to help serve people in the 97th House District.
“I am honored to represent people in Bay, Genesee, Saginaw and Tuscola counties. Listening to people in our communities is a fundamental component of representation,” Bierlein said. “I encourage people to contact my office if they have questions or concerns about things that are going on locally or in Lansing.”

Before entering office, Matthew was a small business owner and has served his community as a member of the Tuscola County Board of Commissioners for six years. As a commissioner, he served as President of the Michigan Association of Counties and was on the board of directors of the National Association of County officers. He has most recently worked for state Sen. Kevin Daley as his in-district director.
The 97th House District includes portions of Bay, Genesee, Saginaw, and Tuscola counties.
