The third annual Legislative Softball Game for charity is scheduled for this week, Wednesday, June 4, at Jackson Field in Lansing.

The 2025 beneficiary charity is Leader Dogs for the Blind, a Michigan-based nonprofit that provides guide dogs and training to individuals who are blind or visually impaired. 

Members of the media are invited to arrive at 5:30 p.m. for availability with interested legislators before the game. The media session will end at 5:50 p.m. to allow time for the players to warm up. Doors open to the public at 6 p.m. The first pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m.

Entry is free, but concessions will be available for purchase.

Once the game ends, organizers ask that attendees clear out as quickly as possible to allow stadium staff to begin cleaning.
